Runnymede Rambles is a series of walking routes that were compiled by one of our members, Neil Meek, a few years ago. There are a total of 14 routes around Runnymede of various types and levels of difficulty but most of them are just 3 or 4 miles in distance. Neil has also included lots of interesting facts and information about what you can see when you are out walking around Runnymede.
It is recommended that you take a copy of Ordinance Survey Explorer Map 160 (Windsor, Weybridge & Bracknell) when walking out one of these routes, to help you identify some the public footpaths that are included.
Please note that the routes were checked when they were originally published some years ago, but they have not been independently checked and verified recently. So please walk out your chosen route carefully before organising any group walks.
Any public footpath issues should be reported to Surrey County Council.
