Our group walking holiday to Potters Resort, Hopton-on-Sea on the Norfolk coast was a lovely short break.
The trip was was organised by Joy Johnson and the walks were led by Joy, Alan Lander and Ray Barker. There was a short walk on arrival day and 2 longer walks on the Saturday and Sunday. Many of the group also drove to nearby Carlton Marches for a walk around the Nature Reserve on the Monday.
The short walk was along the coast from Potters to Gorleston, then back along the cliff-top. The Saturday circular walk started from Haven Bridge, then alongside Breydon Water to Burgh Castle for lunch then back to the start. The Sunday circular walk was from Potters along the coast to Corton then inland to Blundeston for lunch and back across fields to Potters.
The Potters Resort provided our accommodation and all our meals, with entertainment available in the evening and during the day for those not walking. Many of the group went swimming in the sea or in the resort's swimming pools.
