Staines Ramblers

Our group walking holiday to Heythrop Park in the Cotswolds was a 4-day visit to a beautiful part of the English countryside.

The trip was organised by Mike Heather and the walks were led by Alan Lander, Jim Sapey and Mike himself. We stayed in Warner's Heythrop Park Hotel, a Grade II listed building set in 440 acres of parkland. The weather gods were on our side and we had glorious sunshine for the walks.

Each day there was a choice of a short walk or a longer walk, with 6 walks in total, including a circular walk from Broadway, a longer Broadway and Chipping Campden walk, a circular walk from the hotel, a longer Bourton and the Slaughters walk, a Wychwood Wander walk and a walk from the Rollright Stones on the final day.
