Our group walking holiday to the Webbington Hotel at Loxton in Somerset was a wonderful way to spend the New Year holiday weekend.
The holiday was organised by Joy Johnson and the walks were led by Ramblers Worldwide Holidays with a short walk on the day of arrival and longer walks on the following two days. The plan was for walks from the beautiful Burrington Combe to Dolebury and Beacon Batch on New Year's Eve and an ascent of Crook Peak continuing to Wavering Down on New Year's Day but the very wet weather on the second day forced the abandonment of Crook Peak in favour of an easier walk in the Mendip Hills. The holiday included a gala dinner and dance on New Year's Eve to a live band.
You can see lots of photos on the Facebook page, including many more snaps from New Year's Eve, but here are a few samples:

It's New Year's Eve! Cheers!

And thanks to Joy for organising the whole thing!
